ABOUT
The first time anyone realized I was "different" was when my mother took me in to test for Kindergarten (in the U.S. this is the first official year of school) when I was 5 years old. I don't have a lot of memory of the experience beyond having zero desire to be of any help. I was asked to do different tasks and I did not comply what so ever. Stubborn since day 1 over here!
It was recommended that instead of starting school I head to a Montessori program for a year. I LOVED it. The learning was based around creativity and play. We made puppets and had shows, made cookies, and spent a ton of time outside. I have specific memories of the smell of a garden growing fresh veggies for the first time.
One day little me overheard a teacher asking another for a glue gun. They didn't have one available. I didn't say a word, went home and told my Mom we needed to bring the glue gun to school the next day. The teacher was shocked that I'd been so hyper-aware of my surroundings and the needs of the teachers and their conversations. I wanted to be helpful, but in my own quiet way.
Cut to- I'm back at Kindergarten test round 2 and I'm READY. I'm motivated, I WANT THIS. And I nailed it. I'd been supported to grow at my own pace- my specific gifts had been nurtured.
The rest of school wasn't so idyllic. I was shy and a deep thinker. From the start empathetic and intuitive, highly sensitive and emotional.
I felt alone, misunderstood, and like the black sheep of the family and the world for a long time. I grew up without any adult figure to confide in or feel supported by.
I hit a “the Universe has spoken” tipping point in my early 30’s. I found my first coach Angela (Read the full story) from a Facebook ad about a 3 day silent meditation retreat.
Working with her I let myself share my darkest fears, shames, and doubts with another human for the first time in my life.
And she taught me that with the right people, that is safe and ok. More than ok. It’s necessary medicine to hold and be held as a human having this messy life experience.
She helped me learn how to love ME for exactly how I am. To rediscover the goofy, sarcastic, boisterous, contemplative, caring, deeply intuitive soul that I had buried under layers of protective hard metal coating for a majority of my life.
She helped me learn to listen to my intuition above all the outside noise of the world.
In 2020 I reconnected with my cards and started doing readings for myself and then friends. And then friends of friends. And then people around the world. The feedback I got from folks half-way around the globe gave me the confidence to start a business. But I realized quickly a reading wasn't enough. People needed tools to IMPLEMENT. So I studied various modalities of coaching and created my signature container, Harbor.
As a Neurodivergent person I work mainly with people who were also called "different" as kids and have had to adapt to a world not created for them.
I use a holistic approach to address all aspects of you including; your unique wiring, emotions and belief systems, behaviors, and spirituality. During each session I use down to earth, compassionate, practical coaching to support and guide you to YOUR truth. I help you see your situation clearly, release and process what you need to to move into the next phase of your life and better reconnect to your own internal wisdom.
My goal is to give you the tools to navigate the rest of your life guided by intuition and honoring the way you best move and serve in the world.
